Name

Blocked apps One package name per line. End with .* to block a whole publisher, e.g. com.king.* Blocked websites (Chrome) One per line, e.g. tiktok.com or youtube.com/shorts. Use * to block everything not allowed below.

Always-allowed websites Exceptions to the block list, e.g. your intranet when blocking *.

Phone restrictions Hide every browser except Chrome (stops users getting around the website list) Block all new app installs, including the Play Store Block adding or removing accounts Block USB file transfer Force Google SafeSearch Disable Chrome incognito tabs

Private DNS filter host Optional. Your AdGuard Home DNS-over-TLS name, e.g. dns.example.co.za. Filters every app, not just Chrome.

Always protected, never blocked: FieldGuard itself, Chrome, Settings and the phone dialler.

Factory-reset the phone (Settings, General management, Reset on Samsung; Settings, Additional settings, Back up and reset on OPPO).
On the first welcome screen, tap the same blank spot six times. A QR scanner opens.
Connect to Wi-Fi if asked, then scan this code.
Accept the prompts. The phone downloads FieldGuard and finishes setup on its own.
Skip adding a Google account unless your process needs one. Check the phone appears under Devices within a few minutes.

Anyone holding this QR code can enrol a phone. Rotate the enrolment secret in Settings after a rollout batch.

Phones download this file during enrolment. Upload the signed release build from Android Studio.

Server

Check-in interval (seconds)

Rotating the enrolment secret invalidates every QR code printed so far. Enrolled phones are not affected.
